We are called to the work of Christmas, not just during this twelve-day feast but all year long. As we prepare to begin another new year and another decade, we are called anew to witness to a changed reality, to the hope that has been born in us. We are called to proclaim to the world that the darkness has not overcome the light, to be messengers who bring good news, who announce salvation, who say to the world “Your God Reigns!”
