“And Mary gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in bands of cloth, and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.” (Luke 2:7) There was no room for Jesus. This shouldn’t surprise us. To this day, it is quite easy to be unable to find room for Jesus in the life of the world or our own daily living. But even though no one makes room for Jesus, the good news is that, “The grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all” (Titus 2:11). Even when we won’t make room, grace, revealed in Christ, appears anyway.
