Ever feel like the world – your world – is spinning out of control even as you work so hard to keep everything buttoned down and tied up? Chaos, fear, anxiety are all part of the same parcel. We need something that will ground us; something that has power to turn chaos into order, darkness to light, death to life. God is the only power that can do that. In the beginning creation came from chaos at God’s Word. At the Sea God made a way out of the chaos and the water for the Israelites to freedom. In the waters of baptism God brings us out of chaos into a life of meaning, purpose and divine order.
